Human Concerns Commission
The commission is a group of members representing each parish Human Concerns Commission that work together to promote city-wide efforts. The over all role of the individual parish’s Human Concerns Committee, as well as the city wide Commission, is to promote direct service, justice education, social action and advocacy efforts. They also lend support to the variety of committees that are listed in this section. If you want to be involved in the "big picture" of community outreach to others, especially the poor, this is the group for you!
